For us Lakers fans who felt the decision was a mistake we are
vindicated. The hated Celtics have proven the theory that it takes
sacrifice and team work of young and veteran players. The MJ age of one
great player has retired with MJ. Kobe's go it alone attitude alienated
him from the American players in the NBA. 6 years later he tries
to take the crown by proving he can work with a European team. The
Lakers triumph would have given the NBA what they wanted, which is to do
away with American players and bring in the cheaper Europeans.
Take Kobe and the Euro trash somewhere else and bring a US team to LA!!!!!! The It would take someone like Kobe to be used in this fashion.

Boy I tell you....If that statement is true that why did Shaq get
Bus/booted out of Miami nephew?? All the Americaness on that team didn't
stop the bleeding of going 9-44. I rest my case. All you haters are just
looking for a floatation device to keep your hopes and dreams of Shaq
being in LA again alive. Sorry that's a dead subject. On with our new
team in LA and Kobe's dreams of winning another title in LA is burning
bright as ever. Those of you who are still hurting because Shaq's now a
dead horse can all go to sleep. We're back in the elite class of teams
are we'll be back in the Finals next year believe that.

A minute ago you were saying how the NBA cheats. Which I agree with. Now
you are saying that Kobe's team deserved to be in the finals. Some of us
may believe that the NBA benefited from having the Lakers and the
Celtics in the finals. Some people may say that the Lakers and Celtics
were beneficiaries of those cheating refs also.

Look at baseball to see the trend of what's happening in Basketball.
You are right about one thing, it Kobe's dream because while he is awake
it looked like he choked. You don't have to win the game but you could
at least show up.

This once again has nothing to do with Shaq as much as it's about team
basketball, instead of a super star to get people in the seats. I've
said it before and I'll say it again, 4 ring SHAQ IS DONE! I guess the
greatest player on the planet doesnt mean much next to who is playing in
the game today? I expected more from your boy, he wasn't hurt, is not
old, etc. 17 points in a Finals game for the caliber player he is
supposed to be is just SAD!

Kobe is still the greatest player on the planet. They all have bad games
and you sometimes have no control over when you're going to have a bad
game. The Lakers period didn't match the physical play of Boston in the
series and you can't contribute that to Kobe. Player have to step up and
play there position. Our power positions were exploited and that was the
difference in the series. Now Since Shaq's downfall everyone want to
make excuse for his sorryazz by saying All Shaq got 4 rings but whatever
that's not an excuse and wasn't an excuse for Kareem and he played
longer then Shaq. Everyone now wants to say that Kobe didn't do this and
that but the Kid is still making Final appearance with mediocre players.
NO ONE IN THE LEAGUE CAN DO WHAT KOBE DID WITH THESE LAKERS THIS
YEAR..NOT EVEN SHAQ!!! So say what you wanna say about my boy but any
team with 3 superstars should've swept the Lakers 4-0. Should've swept
the Hawks they didn't' and should've swept Detroit and they didn't'and
They didn't swept the Lakers because of KB24 the MVP!!! baby!!! Now
let's see what Shaq doesn't in PHX next year against the Lakers.
HAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! Do you really wanna see that happen. I doubt it!!!
LOL!!!

You have this Shaq fetish, dude he's done as the top franchise player. The difference is Shaq did his job in the playoffs and his team didn't. Kobe didn't do his job not in one game but in the finals. This is LOS ANGELES not some small venue. WE WERE EMBARRASED because we had a team of young players and ODOM's Clipper ass. Why can't we get quality veterans to come play for us? Nobody likes his ass! We are going to get KG is what I remember and instead he goes to our rival. Nobody wanted to see the Lakers get pushed back further in the hunt for Team dominance and here we are losing to the CELTICS!  As I said before it was about overtaking the Celtics as the team with the most rings period. It's always been bigger than Kobe, but the sacrifice of the franchise for a player doesn't matter to the blind. Now we have to sit back another year and hope Kobe won't go whining in the off season! Like you said they were out played KB24 and all, Michael Jordan comparisons are over! He couldn't even will himself to score let alone a team. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
